Why is your processing time 5-10 business days?

To ensure we can offer a wider selection of titles at the most competitive prices, we place orders with our supplier only after receiving your purchase. Our processing time accounts for the period required to source your item, receive it from our supplier, and prepare it for dispatch.

In the event of any unexpected delays, we will make every effort to keep you informed as soon as possible. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your books on their way to you.

Why do you not keep stock on-hand?

As a small business, our goal is to meet customer needs in the most thoughtful and efficient way possible. By not holding stock on hand, we're able to order items as needed - helping us reduce overhead costs and make the most of our limited office space.

This approach also allows us to curate our selection based on current customer trends and interests. While this may result in slightly longer processing times compared to larger retailers, we believe the added care and value are well worth the wait.

Why did one of my titles get refunded?

As our suppliers’ database is continuously updated, the availability of certain titles may change unexpectedly. If one of your purchased books has been refunded, it is likely due to the title becoming unavailable.

In such cases, we will notify you via email with a brief explanation and initiate a refund to your original payment method.

While we strive to keep our website as up to date as possible with current availability, please note that changes may occur at any time.

Why are some titles no longer available?

As these incredible authors and their books gain popularity, they’re often picked up by traditional publishing houses. Once a title is in the process of being traditionally published, it may no longer be available for purchase through our site.

While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, availability can change quickly and without notice. The most reliable way to find out when a book will be withdrawn from sale is by following the author on social media - most will give readers a heads-up when a title or series is nearing its final availability.

Why aren't there many hardcovers listed for purchase?

Our goal is to bring you as many fabulous titles as we can get our hands on! As a paperback girl myself, that’s where we started - but don’t worry, hardcovers are on our radar and will be making their way to the store soon.

Why aren't there as many Fantasy Romance titles as others?

I haven’t quite entered my Fantasy Romance era just yet - so for now, we’re flying on the wings of recommendations when it comes to what we stock. If there’s a book or series you’d love to see on our shelves, don’t be shy - send it our way!

I can't find the title I am looking for. Do you special order?

Yes! Please feel free to put in a request via our Contact form. Once your request has been received we will check our distributor’s database for availability and we will advise if the book is available to order. 

Where do you order your books from?

Currently all titles are sourced from Ingram located in Dandenong, Victoria. As the business grows like I hope it will, we will look into other suppliers as well.

How does ordering a US Special Order Title work?

If you’re hoping to snag a Deluxe First Print Edition, we’ve got you covered! These special titles are custom ordered from the U.S., so there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Each product listing will include a cut-off date—you’ll need to place your order by 9 PM (AEST) on that date for it to be processed.
  • Please allow up to 15 business days from the release date for processing. As these editions ship from the U.S., they do take a little longer to reach us.
  • If demand is especially high, our supplier may need to restock before fulfilling our order. In that case, we’ll list an estimated restock date on the product page.
  • For pre-order titles, the expected publication date will be listed, and we’ll do our best to ship as close to that date as possible.
  • If there are any unexpected delays on our end, we’ll keep you in the loop as soon as we know.

Please note: if you order a U.S. Special Order title alongside regular in-stock books, everything will ship together once all items have arrived. If you’d prefer to receive your other books sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
